What are some common pregnant health issues? headaches
migraines during pregnancy
Early in a pregnancy, headaches can be frequent. As your pregnancy progresses, they typically get better.
They are not harmful to your baby, but they may cause you discomfort.
Pre-eclampsia, which can cause major consequences if it is not monitored and managed, occasionally manifests as a headache. Usually after 20 weeks of pregnancy, pre-eclampsia begins.
Call your maternity unit, GP, or NHS 111 immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: a severe headache; vision issues, such as blurred vision or seeing flashing lights; pain right below the ribs; vomiting; or a sudden rise in facial, hand, foot, or ankle swelling.
All of them should be checked out right away because they might be pre-eclampsia symptoms.
